New grocery plans and commercial development are creating opportunities across the Treasure Valley.

Natural Grocers is planned for Nampa’s District 208. Permit records identify shell improvements at 1509 Caldwell Boulevard for the grocery retailer. The exact suite and opening date remain unconfirmed, but a grocery tenant could bring more regular customer visits and support neighboring businesses.

Meridian approved commercial zoning changes at Ten Mile and Franklin. The conceptual development beside Ten Mile Christian Church includes more than 52,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, drive-throughs, and offices. The developer is discussing a potential location with 7 Brew, although no finalized lease has been reported. Additional platting, infrastructure, and design work remain ahead.

Western Collective announced its Garden City taproom closure. Operations were scheduled to end after October 31, with the lease expiring at year-end. No replacement operator has been confirmed, creating a potential opportunity for another brewery or hospitality business.

Crave confirmed its second location. The restaurant plans an 8,539-square-foot building beside Scheels at Ten Mile Crossing, targeting a fall 2027 opening. The announcement adds another dining destination to Meridian’s growing Ten Mile corridor.

For retail owners, investors, and tenants, these changes highlight opportunities around grocery traffic, emerging commercial space, and existing hospitality locations.
